Terms of Service
Effective July 7, 2026
1. The service
SpectreOS provides an AI-native platform for private-equity deal teams: document ingestion and search, grounded question-answering, and workflow tooling ("the Service"). The Service is currently offered in an early-access capacity and its features may change.
2. Accounts and access
You sign in with your firm's Google account and are responsible for activity under your account. Access to deals is governed by ownership and membership grants within your workspace. You may only upload content you have the right to use.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the documents and data you ingest. You grant SpectreOS a limited license to store, process and index that content solely to provide the Service to you. We treat ingested deal content as your confidential information. AI-generated outputs (answers, summaries, memos) are produced from your content and are yours to use; they are decision support, not investment, legal or tax advice, and may contain errors — verify against source documents.
4. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to access other users' data, no probing or disrupting the Service, no reselling without our agreement, and no uploading of malicious code.
5. Third-party services
Optional integrations (e.g., Google Drive, Google Calendar) are governed by your authorization and can be revoked at any time. Our handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpectreOS's aggregate liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Sections 3, 6 and 8 survive termination.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. We may update these terms by posting the revised version here with a new effective date. Questions: legal@spectreos.ai.
